Jim Schoenike CEO, Quasar Distributors, LLC
Jim Schoenike, has more than 27 years of securities industry experience. Prior to joining U.S. Bancorp, he began his career with Milwaukee-based Blunt, Ellis, and Loewi, a NYSE and FINRA member firm, in 1981. Since September of 1990, he has been employed by various subsidiaries of U.S. Bancorp. In 2000, Mr. Schoenike was instrumental in establishing Quasar Distributors, LLC, a FINRA member Broker/Dealer dedicated to underwriting and distributing mutual funds. His FINRA registrations include a series 7, 63, 24 (General Securities Principal), 4 (Options Principal), and 53 (Municipal Securities Principal). Mr. Schoenike's responsibilities have included the supervision of all trading and underwriting activities for Firstar Investment Services and Firstar Bank Fixed Income Department (separate broker/dealers); the supervision and management of the Institutional Sales staff for Firstar Bank; the management and supervision of Firstar's Institutional Custody Services; the establishment and supervision of the Securities Lending capabilities for Firstar Trust Company; Institutional Custody sales; and Trustee for the CUNA Government Program, a $200 million Firstar Bank common trust fund regulated by the OCC.
Education
Mr. Schoenike obtained B.S. degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Carroll College in 1981. Since 1992, Mr. Schoenike has participated in the FINRA securities arbitration program as an industry arbitrator.
