See what makes a line of credit different from other ways of financing.

A personal line of credit shares a few similarities with credit cards, like ongoing access to funds for purchases over time and no interest as long as you pay your statement balance in full each month. But a personal line of credit has some features that make it an enticing way to pay for your projects.

Lower interest rates1

A personal line of credit typically has a lower annual percentage rate (APR) than credit cards. Plus, you get that same rate for purchases, transfers and advances.

No collateral required2

Unlike a home equity line of credit where you borrow against the value of your home, a personal line of credit for home improvement projects does not require collateral as it is unsecured.

No annual fee

Enjoy your personal line of credit for years to come without annual fees.
